Program Director

Jack Burnett is a dedicated advocate and mentor for African-American youth at risk, focusing on offering alternatives to incarceration and providing specialized programming. As the CEO of Level Ground, Inc., he employs his expertise as a Source Advisor, Life Coach Specialist, and Resource Advisor. Additionally, Jack is an advocate for legislative changes to benefit these communities. With a background as a four-year student of criminal law, his efforts are aimed at transforming lives and influencing policy for the better.

Jemela Mwelu

Jemela Mwelu is a co-creator of Level Ground Vocational Training, an author, and an entertainer. She actively contributes to education and the arts, shaping programs that enhance skills and enrich communities. Her work extends to her role as an honorary board member, guiding organizational growth and impact.

Spencer Hull

Spencer Hull

R. Spencer Hull, born and raised in Chicago's inner city, has made Minneapolis his home for the past decade. A graduate of the University of Minnesota, he holds double majors in Film and Business from the Carlson School of Management. As a licensed general contractor in Minnesota, he has spent years helping residents and business owners in the Twin Cities remodel their spaces. Hull is a staunch advocate for guiding troubled youth toward successful futures by demonstrating realistic and attainable pathways. He often shares his belief in the continued relevance of traditional paths for young people, stating, "I want to remind young people coming out of high school that the traditional paths are still available to them, even in the modern world."
